Current Obsession: The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Collection

I've never really ventured outside of my everyday skincare routine. I wash, add sunscreen and repeat. It wasn't until recently that I noticed all of my friends had some sort of signature moisturizer they lived for. They inspired me to switch up my boring regimen and hunt for one of my own to spice things up. The daunting task of trying new products became tedious, and I found myself frustrated with the lack of positive results. Just as I was about to throw in the towel, I came across The Body Shop's new Wild Argan Oil Collection. Alas, my knight in shining armor came to save the day.

The five-piece assortment includes an exfoliating scrub ($20), a massage soap ($6), a bubble bath solution ($12), a body and hair oil ($25) and, my personal favorite, a body butter ($20). Argan oil's natural characteristics make the products light and never greasy, infusing your skin with all-day moisture. Not to mention they smell heavenly, making them irresistible to put on. While the collection's performance is spot-on, one of the best parts about it is where it comes from.

The Body Shop teamed up with Targanine co-operatives to create its Community Fair Trade program. Together, they have given 334 women financial independence and armed them with newly learned skills. By buying the products, you not only help your skin with the organic argan oil, but also help empower the women of Morocco.
