#FF: Five Instagrams to Follow for Healthy Foodporn
Scroll through any Instagram feed and you're guaranteed to find prettily arranged macarons, frosted confections and other delicious treats. As much as we love our sweets, we like balancing it out with wholesome eating. This week we bring you healthy food porn to inspire creativity in the kitchen. Pasta made out of zucchini? Check. Guilt-free pizza? Check. These vegan, vegetarian and even raw creations leave us hungry for more green in our lives. They might even knock cupcakes off their Insta-pedestal.
Healthy dishes might as well be works of art based on this feed's artfully arranged fruit breakfast bowls, salads and smoothies.
Joana Nobre Silva is the queen of vegetable pasta. You'll want to buy a spiralizer stat after seeing the hundreds of ways she creates "pasta" dishes with cucumbers, zucchini and carrots. See how huge that plate is? No skimpy greens here.
Gena Hamshaw, who gave us tips on trying a raw diet, runs a wildly popular food blog called Choosing Raw. Her Instagram showcases her innovation, including this socca flatbread with green pea pesto that gives pizza a run for its money.
You're guaranteed a rainbow of delicious food on your feed when you follow Amanda from Craving Thirty. Who knew you could do so much with fruits and vegetables?
David Frenkiel, blogger at Green Kitchen Stories, is a good follow for those foodies who still can't abandon their sweets. Trade in your chocolate chip cookies for oat-and-raspberry scones and gawk at the gorgeous snapshots, which prove a green life is not only attainable but desirable.
