Trend to Try: Oversized Wraps

It's a scarf! It's a cape! It's a poncho! Call it what you may (we're going with oversized wrap), but all we know is once we saw model Cara Delevingne modeling her customized Burberry version on the runway, we knew we needed one in our lives. Besides its obvious function of keeping you warm, the oversized wrap is all about versatility.

See more styles, and how-to after the JUMP!

Style icon in the making Olivia Palermo demonstrates her dedication to fashion risks by mixing her coveted Burberry wrap with sexy thigh-high boots and a demure ladylike bag, proving that just because it's cold out doesn't mean you can't show a little leg.

Those of us who would prefer to be a little more covered up should look to blogger Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific for inspiration. Simply start with a head-to-toe black ensemble and top it with a multi-colored wrap (hers is from Topshop). You can even layer the wrap over a coat for extra warmth. Winter weekend uniform done.

Head-to-toe black seems to be the favorite go-to look, not just among bloggers but also celebrities such as Selena Gomez. Tassels add a boho element to her comfy casual look.
