#Instadecor: Chic Chinoiserie Interiors (Met Gala Inspired)

“China: Through the Looking Glass,” opening today at the Met, has us dreaming not only of gala gowns but of blue-and-white china, hand-painted de Gournay wallpaper, and the Coromandel screens Coco Chanel so loved. Anything but a fad, the style, which emerged in the eighteenth-century, is one with enduring appeal that works as well in intimate settings as on the grand scale.
